I have always been drawn to nature, unfortunately there have been long periods of my life where I have misplaced that. In recent years with camera in hand I have found that love once again and I hope my photographs show that love of God’s creation.

With my photographs I try to capture the sense of awe I find around each bend of a creek, top of a mountain or the crashing of water over a waterfall. The perfect light at the perfect moment is breathtaking, that moment is what I strive to capture. I hope the viewer of my photographs is able to feel what I feel as I shoot the scenes.

That feeling is powerful, standing watching the fog lift from a swift flowing mountain stream, or the sun quickly descending behind the mountains, a feeling of being part of nature, of watching God’s hands at work. That is what I hope my photographs capture.
